This paper characterizes how U.S. genetic data can be used by strategic competitors to re-identify individuals. It explains the scope of the privacy and national security risks associated with strategic competitors gaining access to human genetic data on the U.S. population to stakeholders. A detailed methodology section focuses on the approach, assumptions and limitations of this research.
