This report provides a detailed path analysis of human responses to flashbang grenades, their relationship with performance outcomes, and their implications for the design of human-subject experiments to quantify these effects. IDA recommends that future efforts at improving the effectiveness of flashbang grenades be focused on experimentally testing the variables and interactions identified by the path analyses presented in this report.
