Next Generation Personnel Management Models and Modeling Environment

IDA conceptualized the Enterprise Data to Decisions Information Environment (EDDIE) as a collaborative data-hosting analytic environment that facilitates timely internal and external analyses by reducing data procurement and preparation time and improving access to computational resources while providing state-of-the-art security for sensitive Department of Defense (DoD) information assets. IDA engaged analytic organizations within DoD, the military departments, and the civilian analytic community that supports DoD to develop user and governance requirements for EDDIE. By incorporating the identified requirements into EDDIE, IDA enabled users to access personnel data quickly and securely, thereby improving responsiveness to DoD leadership who seek actionable information.
