The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) held a Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Tuesday, January 25, at 11:00 a.m. EST to celebrate the opening of our new Potomac Yard facility at 730 East Glebe Road, Alexandria, VA 22305. Event speakers included IDA President Norty Schwartz and Alexandria Mayor Justin Wilson. We moved our headquarters and Systems and Analyses Center from the City of Alexandria’s Mark Center area to the city’s high-tech corridor in Potomac Yard. Our new facility has the technology, space and amenities that will better serve the needs of our staff and sponsors. The building was also constructed to meet WELL Building standards and LEED certification.
