This presentation presents an econometric framework used to estimate the deterrent effect of multiple CBP consequences programs. Estimates of deterrence are produced from administrative apprehension records. Deterrence estimates produced from the econometric analysis are then compared with deterrence estimates produced from the EMIF-N survey.
