This report gives an overview of quantum computing and shows how to get started using cloud-based quantum computing services available from IBM, D-Wave, Azure, Amazon and Google. It describes an IDA-developed framework called Quixotic that can be used to leverage systems that use quantum annealing to develop energy optimization solutions.
