This report examines the development and utilization of China’s space talent. IDA researchers employed multi-method approaches including a literature review, analyses of Chinese aerospace higher education institutions, workforce report data, and publication data to gain insight into how Chinese scientists and engineers have developed the technology needed to be an independent spacefaring nation with a successful space program.
