IDA Researcher Named CNAS 2016 Next Generation National Security Fellow

Kristen Hajduk, IDA/JAWD Research AssociateJAWD’s Kristen Hajduk, currently on IPA to Special Operations and Irregular Warfare in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, has been named a 2016 Next Generation National Security Fellow at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).






IDA’s Korea Expert in the News Again

IDA Researcher Kongdan (Katy) Oh HassigSFRD’s Katy Oh Hassig was interviewed in the Korea Times recently. She spoke of South Korea as more than a “toothless beast” when it comes to its neighbor on the peninsula. 







Former IDA President Speaks of Cyber Ethics

Dr. Alyson Wilson, RSM/STPISTPI’s Alyson Wilson was recently elected a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science for her contributions to science and technology.







IDA Article Named One of Best Research Articles of 2015

Solar Activity Seen at Sunspot Site Tracked by Mars RoverSTPI’s Seth Jonas and Eoin McCarron’s article “Recent U.S. Policy Developments Addressing the Effects of Geomagnetically Induced Currents,” published in October 2015, was nominated and selected as one of the best research articles of 2015 across all AGU journals. In addition, their article “White House Releases National Space Weather Strategy and Action Plan” has been published in the February 8 issue of Space Weather.
