The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) is a not-for-profit corporation that operates three Federally Funded Research and Development Centers serving the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Department of Homeland Security, Unified Commands and Defense Agencies in addressing important national security issues, particularly those requiring scientific and technical expertise.
Under general supervision, the incumbent performs a variety of Administrative Services tasks. Duties include moving and positioning office furniture and furnishings, servicing conference rooms, running errands, making petty cash purchases, and chauffeuring passengers. Also assists in the processing and delivery of mail.
