    Description
    The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) is a not-for-profit corporation that operates three Federally Funded Research and Development Centers serving the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Unified Commands and Defense Agencies in addressing important national security issues, particularly those requiring scientific and technical expertise.
    Primary Responsibilities
    A challenging career opportunity now exists in our Information Technology & Systems Division (ITSD) for an experienced analyst working in intelligence studies. Specific work areas include conducting a wide range of analytical studies on intelligence topics including planning, collection and analyses. Discipline areas include foreign affairs, economics, national security studies, politics, science and technology and information systems. Studies can include operational, programmatic, and technical topics.
    Requirements
    • Candidates should have an advanced degree in a related discipline.
    • The successful candidate will have 10 years or more of direct experience in the U.S. intelligence community, preferably with substantive analytical experience.
